Khaled says: I was on the final deadline with Nas for my last album. He’s a special kind of artist you know—so you wait for Nas no matter what. He loved the concept of that record. At first, Jadakiss and Game were going to be on it, but I thought about it for a few days and decided to tell him just to go in do whatever he wanted with it. I told him to catch the Holy Ghost on that one, and he did! Truthfully, I didn’t even have the time to try and wait for Jada and Game to get their verses in. Nas finished that one in the very last hour, and it came out classic. The chorus alone on that one is a movie.
