Nas is putting another feather in his cap by executive producing a new dance documentary alongside director Adam Sjöberg (We All Might Make It) called Shake The Dust.
The b-boy flick travels overseas to Colombia, Cambodia, Uganda and Yemen to explore the world's street dancing. In addition to overseeing production, the Queens MC will create original, new music, according to THR.
“What these kids are doing around the world reminds me why I fell in love with hip-hop and how important it is as a creative and constructive outlet,” he said in a statement. “After hearing Adam’s vision for this project and hearing the stories, I was incredibly excited to help bring the film to global audiences who need to hear this surprising message of empowerment.”
This isn't Nasir's first rodeo: he also holds musical credits in 2001's Sacred Is The Flesh and 2008's Tyson documentary.
