Nas To Perform At 2012 ESPY Awards

Kicking off the release week of his 10th studio album, Life is Good, Nas is set to perform at the 2012 ESPY Awards on July 11 in Los Angeles.

The Don took to Twitter to confirm his performance saying, "Hey young world... I'm performing live at the @ESPYS on July 11th!! #LIFEISGOOD717" with a link to the official press release.

Actress Jessica Biel, country singer Kenny Chesney, and NASCAR’s Danica Patrick are among the celebrities expected to present that night. The ceremony will be hosted by comedian and actor Rob Riggle.

The ESPY Awards honors the achievements made by athletes in the realm of sports for the past year. This year’s ceremony will also honor ESPN’s commitment to The V Foundation for Cancer Research, a partnership launched with late NCAA basketball coach Jim Valvano at the first ESPY Awards ceremony in 1993.

The ESPYs will air live on Tuesday, July 11 at 9pm EST on ESPN/ESPN HD.
