With the NBA Playoffs right around the corner, there are a handful of NBA teams still fighting hard to try and keep their postseason hopes alive. The Boston Celtics are not one of those teams. On Monday night, they registered their 50th win of the season against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, so there's no doubt that they'll be in the playoffs when they begin next month.
Part of the reason they've been so successful is because of the work Glen "Big Baby" Davis has put in for the team. Though he's rarely the leading scorer for the team and doesn't usually get the credit he deserves, his tireless work in the paint has not gone unnoticed by his teammates. And NBA TV took notice recently, too, by inviting Big Baby to spend a few minutes talking to the NBA TV crew about the Celtics' playoff chances, the chemistry involved with making a championship run, and his own contributions to the team. The video interview is available for you to watch now on the NBA TV Fan Night site.
Big Baby isn't the only one who's spoken to NBA TV in the recent days, though. New York Knicks broadcaster Walt "Clyde" Frazier also stopped by. LeBron James sat down to chat after the Miami Heat's win against the Denver Nuggets earlier this week. And Golden State Warriors head coach Keith Smart talked about his squad's season. To see all the videos that are available, head over to the NBA TV Fan Night site now. And while you're there, make sure you vote for next Tuesday night's NBA TV Fan Night game of the week by selecting which game you'd like to see on a nationally-televised broadcast from the box on the right-hand side of the screen. It's almost playoff time. Are you ready?
