News flash: Carmelo Anthony isn't the only player that was involved in the deal that saw 'Melo join the New York Knicks on Monday night. Of course, all eyes will be on him tonight when he makes his Knicks debut against the Milwaukee Bucks at Madison Square Garden in New York City. And he'll likely end up having the biggest impact of any of the players that were involved in the trade.
But in case you haven't noticed, the Nuggets still have a pretty solid squad—and, at the moment, a playoff spot!—without 'Melo. Last night, one of the newest Nuggets Raymond Felton joined the NBA TV crew from the Pepsi Center in Denver during NBA TV Fan Night to talk about being traded from the Knicks to the Nuggets in the 'Melo deal. "I'm glad...we can get back to playing basketball," Felton told Ernie Johnson, Kevin McHale, and Chris Webber during the Fan Night broadcast. "I got traded to a team where I got a lot of friends. I know a lot of these guys on this team. So I was lucky to get traded to a very comfortable situation."
To check out the video of Felton speaking about joining his new team and to check out a host of other exclusive NBA TV interviews as well as the dope What Webb's Watchin' segments featuring Webber's commentary on a variety of topics, head over to the NBA TV Fan Night site.
