Ne-Yo revealed on the red carpet at Sunday's GRAMMYs Awards that he may be the newest addition to "The X Factor" judging panel in the States.
The singer/songwriter extraordinaire, who was previously on the UK edition, was rumored to be one of the top choices to join this year's line-up. With the exit of pop princess Britney Spears and music mogul L.A. Reid, a missing spot for the R.E.D. singer could be possible.
“I think it would be a great, great thing, I don’t want to talk too much about it, because I don’t want to get in no trouble," he told EXTRA. "Conversations have been had, but that’s about it. If it happens, I’d be more then willing to do so. I feel like I’ve been around long enough to have some vital information for someone on the way up, definitely.”
This wouldn't be his first appearance on a singing competition; he has coached and chimed in on NBC's "The Voice."
