Nelly Says He Didn't Know Drugs And Gun Were On Bus

After a passenger on Nelly's tourbus was arrested for drug and gun possession at a checkpoint in Sierra Blanca Thursday (Oct. 11), the rapper says he had no idea the illegal contents were on board.

“It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning," Nelly tells TMZ.

"Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board," he adds. "Law enforcement officials did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”

Bags of cocaine, marijuana and a loaded pistol were seized during the cop raid. Members close to Nelly's camp say the coke was actually Molly.
