VIBE: How'd you link with Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco?
Baby E. Chris Anokute (Island/Def Jam) believed in me very early on. He asked me who would be my dream producer to work with and I said Dr. Luke. He called me back that day and told me to be ready for a meeting with him at 4pm.
Are your writing your own raps? What inspires the words?
I write all of my own raps. I draw heavily from personal experience when I write. My lyrics are a place for me to get a lot of things off of my chest. I always tell it like it is, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Where'd the name Baby E. come from?
An old friend of mine started calling me Baby E. and then pretty much else everyone else did too after that.. So, I just stuck with it.
Describe your sound in a word.
Can you program, DJ, play an instrument?
