Kevin Feige is the man of the hour currently, as Iron Man 3 makes its debut in the U.S. tonight. The film has already grossed $307 million so far outside the country, and now Captain America: The Winter Soldier gets a bit of spotlight.
Marvel's Phase Two off to a stellar star and the company must be feeling confident about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The next few years find return visits from both Thor and Captain America, plus audiences will be introduced to the Guardians Of The Galaxy and Ant-Man.
Entertainment Weekly had the distinction of chatting with the Marvel studio chief and got him to talk about the movies' development, squeal about the triumphant return of The Avengers in Joss Whedon's sequel, and released an intriguing photo of Bucky Barnes from the Captain America sequel, which you can see above.
For those unfamiliar with the plot of The Winter Soldier, Cap is thrust into the modern world and is reunited with his old buddy, Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan). After being resurrected from the dead, brainwashed and augmented into a lethal killer (Winter Soldier), the reunited tandem find themselves on the opposite end of the battlefield. As the World War II hero tries to find his footing in the modern world, Feige explains, "Cap does stay with S.H.I.E.L.D. because he has nowhere else to go, but he's not necessarily comfortable there."
What does make us comfortable is how ill that battle between former bros turned foes will be when it hits the big screen!
