With hype building for Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan’s super-heroic endeavor, it’s only right that they offer a teaser for the masses to enjoy. We have more for you after the jump.

A new “Man of Steel” poster has hit the Internets featuring the Big Blue Boyscout wearing handcuffs. The teaser only hints at what’s to come in the DC Comics’ adventure, but lead star Henry Cavill appears to be submitting to the law.

Donning restraints that he could easily get off with a flick off his wrist, Superman is featured being escorted by soldiers who look prepared for meta-human combat. What does this latest poster mean when it comes to the much anticipated story written by screen veterans David S. Goyer, Christopher and Jonathan Nolan? Hopefully, we won’t have to wait long, as the upcoming trailer is schedule to make its debut during the Dec. 14th release of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”.

We’ll have to patiently wait until then, but for now, you can check out the poster for yourself below:

“Man of Steel” stars the aforementioned Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe and more will swoop into theaters on June 14, 2013.
