The state of New York hip-hop may have dipped in recent years but it appears the city is reinvigorated and ready to make a comeback. DJ Kay Slay is leading the charge with his latest mixtape, The Rise Of A City. The 15-track project boasts exclusive new music from a predominately NYC cast including tracks from Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Sheek Louch, Maino, N.O.R.E., Saigon, Styles P and even a collaboration by former rivals Fat Joe and 50 Cent. Kay Slay also enlists a couple out-of-towners on the mixtape: The Game, Young Buck, Trae Tha Truth and Juicy J. Check out the mixtape below and stay tuned for the Drama King's upcoming Rhyme or Die album.
