Admission of Guilt Promo #1

Team Torae says:

"Today (3.13.13), Torae released his highly anticipated mixtape Admission Of Guilt, for free digital download via his imprint Internal Affairs Entertainment, in conjunction with Steel Magnolia Group and DJBooth.net. The project was recorded and mixed by Krystal Clear Recordings' Chief Engineer Fokeezy .

Perhaps Torae’s most creatively honest project to date, Admission of Guilt begins with the Brooklyn wordsmith crafting lyrics to what will eventually serve as the mixtape’s final track, when he’s interrupted by some banging on his front door. Over the course of the next 12 songs Torae takes listeners on a ride of highs and lows while navigating through the scrutiny he faces as a result of his public perception as a ‘backpack rapper’ and ‘hip-hop purist’. In an effort to offer his fans an unexpected listening experience on Admission of Guilt, Torae connected with a new crop of beat makers and MC’s, with a verse from Skyzoo and a beat from Eric G. representing the only contributions from past collaborators. Notable features include Bronx, NY standout The Kid Daytona; Brooklyn bully Uncle Murda; Torch of Maybach Music recording group Triple C’s; and hip hop royalty Bun B. and Pharoahe Monch."
