NEW MUSIC: Cocaine 80s — “Fly Ass Pisces” feat. Jhené Aiko & Common

/ January 12, 2013

The Cocaine 80s are prepping the release of their The Flower of Life EP sometime this 2013. On the new track “Fly Ass Pisces,” the collective — featuring artists ranging from producer No I.D. to rapper Common and R&B crooners Steve Wyreman, Rob Kinelski, Kevin Randolph, James Fauntleroy, Makeba, etc. — has enlisted the sweet singing of Jhené Aiko for this one. Bringing things full circle, Aiko’s voice on “Fly Ass Pisces” sounds like a rose supernaturally blooming during the icy months of Zodiac’s Fish. Common jumps in to shed some insight on women, as usual. The end result is cool, and we mean, in the super refreshing way.
