New Music: Curren$y ‘Showroom 2′
Curren$y gives a lyrical salute to fallen rapper Lil Snupe, the 18-year-old signee to Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers label who was shot dead earlier this month. The two Louisiana natives previously collaborated on “Tonight,” off Snupe’s R.N.I.C. mix tape.
“They stole the homie Lil Snupe/I’m still feeling played homes/Ten drops of weed ashes/as I’m dealing with this madness,” the Jet Life leader spits. Listen to the N’awlins lyricist pay his respects on the Cardo-produced follow-up to “Showroom” below.
