New Music: Frank Ocean -- "Wiseman"

Even if the the Grammy-nominated Frank Ocean's cut "Wiseman" didn't make the final cut for the Django Unchained soundtrack, it'd be wise to take a listen. The Odd Future soulster debuted the track on his Tumblr with the caption, "django was ill without it" along with the lyrics on his application of choice, TextEdit.

Django Unchained director Quentin Tarantino released a statement on why Ocean's song was omitted from the film's soundtrack. "Frank Ocean wrote a fantastic ballad that was truly lovely and poetic in every way, there just wasn't a scene for it," he wrote. "I could have thrown it in quickly just to have it, but that's not why he wrote it and not his intention."
