On her new track "Venus," Lady Gaga hops inside a rocket and takes off for a musical journey above the Earth. The fourth single off her ARTPOP album is perhaps her most otherworldy, much in vein of Katy Perry's electronically inclined "E.T." off Teenage Dream.
For her turn in the stars, Gaga isn't looking for aliens, but rather the goddess and planet of love. While providing a unique track sonically, the song manages to walk on the weird side, unlike Gaga's other ARTPOP singles which channel her inner Koons.
ARTPOP on Nov. 11.
