New Music: Punch ‘1965’ x ‘Interlude’

The more TDE President Punch continues to release music, the more we’re going to believe it will be him appearing somewhere near that TDE album release calendar by the end of the year. After releasing two lauded cuts in “A Project Mind” and “Untitled”, Punch reaches into his rap hat once more for “Prelude”, a sprawling history lesson about Los Angeles and in particular the original Black Panther Party which then led to the creation of two gangs, the Crips and the Bloods. “What a transition from Jim Crow South to the projects, Nickerson Gardens,” a female voice undertones the piano heavy track.
