Rihanna and Chris Brown give us the lowdown on their newest duet "Nobody's Business." After a poppy honeymoon remix for the Cinderella version of Rih's "Umbrella" and the explicitly controversial collabo on "Birthday Cake," this Unapologetic cut offers a neutral balance between the two that speaks to the nature of their un-relationship.
In a recent interview with Power 106's Big Boy's Neighborhood, Brown was quick to affirm that he and the Bajan beauty are trying to let the present work itself out, though the public can't seem to move on. "Me and her have history, and me and her are always gonna definitely be the best of friends," he said. "I think everybody feels so attached to this old situation...As far as our personal life, I think people gotta give us a chance. And if not give it a chance, then shut the hell up."
"Nobody" seems to be a recurring theme for the former lovebirds, as Breezy recently dropped his latest track "Nobody's Perfect." Here, the singer/rapper/model trades his yodel-crooning for more Michael Jackson-esque ad-libs. While the lyrics cater to a more rhyme-friendly schematic ("Your love is perfection/ please point me in the right direction/ I'ma give you all my attention/ every touch becomes infectious"), truth resonates in the opening lines where Chrianna say they'll always belong to each other. Regardless of whether or not you approve of the bouncy Studio 54 banger, just let these two have their cake and eat it.
