The wait for BBC's Sherlock Holmes Season 3 is sure to be a heart-stopping endeavor, as we have the teaser image and trailer for you to witness and applause.
Stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman cleared space in their schedules to shoot this season, which finds John Watson (Freeman) sitting alone apparently still in mourning of Sherlock's (Cumberbatch) apparent death at the end of Season 2.
You can see the supposedly dead detective looking in on his friend below:
The first episode of Season 3 will air on January 19 at 10:00 p.m., although it still has a "coming soon" tag as far as BBC One goes. There are few details online about the new season, although Benedict Cumberbatch recently hinted on The Graham Norton Show, "I can't say an awful lot but he comes back, there's a reunion that doesn't go as planned, there's a wedding and there's a new bad guy."
A short teaser trailer, which you can see below, will truly amaze you. Sadly, we're missing that traditional Watson mustache that is missing from the above image. Our guess is that the 'stache won't survive beyond the first episode of this season, it seems, so you all enjoy it while it lasts.
