Project Know used RapGenius' database and analyzed the prevalence of drug-related lyrics among rappers over the past 25 years. Drugs included in the study were marijuana, MDMA (molly), cocaine, codeine, alcohol and pharmaceutical drugs, like Xanax, Adderall and pain killers.
The two rappers with the most druggy bars were Lil' Wayne and Lil' B. With over 22,000 rap songs included in the study, marijuana came in first as the drug with the most references. Other rappers who had the most drug-laced lyrics include Three 6 Mafia, Eminem, The Roots and G-Unit.
