New Video: GQ - "The Town" (prod. by 9th Wonder)

Producer 9th Wonder has found another lyrical monster in Oakland native, GQ, for his label Jamla Records. With a name like GQ, you'd think he'd be all about fashion brands and how to keep your facial hair in check, yet the former collegiate basketballer (2005 UNC Final Four champ!) is all about rhymes from the depths of realness and soul. With a mixtape titled “Death Threats & Love Notes” on the horizon, be sure to check what he has in store.

The video for “The Town” is expertly directed by Kenneth Price and captures an artistic angle in its black and white glory.
