It's hard not to recognize the talents of a man that spits that realness in his rhymes, produces his own heat music wise and shoots his own videos without the help of the majors. Most hip-hop cats are on that same grind but rarely are all three angles done with quality. Brownsville, New York's Ka has all three essential elements mastered with "Born King N.Y.". His style is off the beaten path of the club driven hit singles that populate urban radio, but it's a lane that is sorely missed in today's uneven landscape.
