Knicks fans are feeling some type of way. The New York Knicks' 21-40 record this season has fans in an uproar and a group of protesters are ready to take matters into their own hands.
The "KF4L Rally" (short for "Knicks Fan for Life") will be hosting a protest outside of Madison Square Garden in NYC on March 19 at 6pm before the Knicks' game against the Indiana Pacers.
In a statement on their Facebook page, they are blaming owner James Dolan for the crumbling of the Knicks organization. The group listed that they are discontent with Dolan’s failure to allow knowledgeable basketball people the autonomy/power to make basketball-related decisions, his insistence on overriding the opinions of his basketball people by bidding against himself in negotiations and overpaying in trades, among a host of other things.
In the FB post, they cautioned that they would keep the peace so that their voices could be heard.
"This will be a peaceful and respectful demonstration," they wrote. "We do not want to go out there and be seen as unruly knick fans. That will discredit what we are trying to accomplish."
