NFL Homegating Launch With Holly Robinson Peete & More

The NFL knows you know how to party. Every week fans from around the country trek to their favorite team's stadium and cookout by their trucks, cars and RVs. Burgers, hot dogs and beer can be found as the food and drink of choice. But what about the people that can't make it to the game to "tailgate"? What about the millions of faithful fans that watch from home and root their teams every week? They have a plan for them as well and they've enlisted Olympic swimming champ Summer Sanders as "The Décor-dinator
Held at the newly opened midtown New York restaurant, Arlington Club, and music by DJ Kiss, all of the festivities were done to perfection, the same way you can try to do it at home. Holly Robinson Peete says: "Homegating is when you bring that [tailgating] experience to your home. It’s when your team is away, or just with your family. Obviously we love football, not just because my husband used to play, but I was born and raised in Philadelphia
Elevating this platform, the NFL is offering unique team branded products from serving trays, cheese boards and wine glasses to crock pots and panini presses which can all be found on NFLshop.com. Holly continues, "When this campaign came up I was really excited to be a part of it, I so connect with what Sunday’s mean. [It’s about] bringing together all these new products that they have and making it about a great day. There are all these different roles that everyone plays. I play all the roles though. I walk around as the coordinator, I’m the grill master, I’m a little bit of everything. Not everybody can go to the game, or go away or tailgate. Sometimes you just have to homegame it. So I’m really proud to be part of this."
