Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift To Headline 2012 American Music Awards

The American Music Awards will be airing next month, and now we know two of the main artists hitting the stage.

The New York Times reports that pop phenom Taylor Swift and Queens native Nicki Minaj are set to headline performances at the 2012 AMAs next month.

Also announced as a performer is rock group Linkin Park. Here are a few nominees of the night:

Artist of The Year:
—Justin Bieber
—Drake
—Maroon 5
—Katy Perry
—Rihanna.

Best New Artist Of The Year:
—J. Cole
—fun.
—Gotye
—Carly Rae Jepsen
—One Direction

The 2012 AMAs will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. on Nov. 18 on ABC.
