Official Bob Marley Documentary Underway

Reggae Legend and activist Bob Marley is set to have his entire life and career captured in an upcoming documentary by The Last King of Scotland director, Kevin Macdonald.

Tuff Gong Pictures / Shangri-La Entertainment is on board to produce the film, which is set to release this year in theatres.

"What made Bob tick is probably unanswerable but viewers will certainly feel that they know him a little better after seeing our documentary. I am grateful to the Marley family for entrusting me with their heritage," Macdonald said in a statement.

The documentary titled, Bob, will film in Jamaica,Ghana, Japan and the States later this year.
