Ohio news stations are reporting another arrest related to The Dark Knight.

This past Monday a 37-year-old North Ridgeville man was charged after police say he walked into the Regal Cinemas at Crocker Park in Westlake, carrying a bag full of weapons. Police arrested Scott Smith during the 10 o’clock showing of The Dark Knight Rises on Saturday night (Aug 4).

The theater manager and off-duty Westlake police officer asked to search his bag, and Smith complied, without incident. Smith was found to be carrying a bag with a loaded 9 mm Glock handgun, two additional loaded magazines and two knives. A third knife was found hidden under the man’s clothes.

Police searched Smith’s home but would not comment on what they have found. FBI agents are ready to join the investigation if needed.

The suspect faces various conceal-carry gun charges is expected to be hit with other local, state, or federal charges.

Regal Cinemas issued a statement confirming the arrest.

“Westlake Police, who work with us regarding security at Crocker Park, did detain someone… We do take safety and security very seriously at Regal,” said Regal Cinemas Spokesman Russ Nunley.
