Recently, upcoming Columbus, Ohio MC SupaNatra got an once-in-a-lifetime chance to play his music for some of the industry's most well-known hip-hop critics while inside the office of music mogul Kevin Liles.
Music journalists Tracy G of Sway In The Morning, VIBE Magazine's Mikey Fresh, Lowkey of Youheardthatnew.com and others took notes as they gave their expert ears to the Buckeye native's raw wordplay over his own production. And, SupaNatra, who is also an engineer and CEO of Chief Execs Entertainment, didn't disappoint. The room was commanded by the sounds from the budding MC/producer.
"You have a lot of diversity in many different arenas, especially when it comes to production," Tracy T said. "It's a tremendous project."
Mikey agreed: "Straight off the bat, I noticed that you have real beats, real instruments and real music." Mikey added that SupaNatra's music is something that people can connect with because it's honest, not preachy and it doesn't seem like he's crying.
Supa has worked with hip-hop heavyweights such as Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Freeway and R&B singer Frank Ocean.
