OkCupid Asks Users To Boycott Mozilla Firefox Over CEO’s Anti-Gay Views

OkCupid is using its wide reach to inspire change. The popular dating site is asking current users to boycott search engine Mozilla Firefox after discovering its CEO–Brendan Eich (above)–is allegedly not a supporter of gay rights.

“Mozilla’s new CEO, Brendan Eich, is an opponent of equal rights for gay couples. We would therefore prefer that our users not use Mozilla software to access OkCupid,” begins the surprising pop up message accompanied by links to four alternative browsers.
