Oprah Issues Public Apology For Asking Nielsen Box Owners to Tune into OWN

Who would've ever thought that Oprah would have to take to Twitter to ask for viewers to watch her OWN network?  Oprah sent out a tweet to her followers soliciting views on Sunday night, while many people were watching The Grammys.

The tweet drew criticism amongst her followers because it seemed like she was being desperate for viewers. Oprah was asked by Nielsen to apologize and delete her tweet. She stated that she intended no harm and apologized for the reference.

Oh boy, don't tell us we need to take Twitter away from Oprah too.
