Oprah Winfrey Celebrates First Graduating Class of Her School in South Africa

Oprah Winfrey is continuing to change the world with milestone after milestone. 

The mogul is currently in South Africa celebrating the graduation of 72 girls from her school for the gifted and underprivileged. Every graduate will be headed to a university around the world, and Oprah couldn't be more proud. She spent $40 million to build the academy back in 2007.

"The pride that I feel today is overpowering," Winfrey reportedly said during the graduation. "I have been on a mission my whole life to be able to give back what I have been given. Today I am fulfilling that mission.

"This class will prove that when you invest in the leadership of girls, you invest in a nation," she continued.
