Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker star in the upcoming The Butler, but the film may be sunk before it even debuts.
That's because producer Harvey Weinstein is being pressured to change the name of the film. Warner Bros. Pictures claims they own the rights to the title "The Butler," since they own a short feature from 1916 that bears that name. But the notoriously prickly Weinstein isn't giving up.
The film is an account of a White House employee who witnessed multiple historical events while working for eight different presidents. It is set to be released on August 16.
