How do you go about composing a track from scratch?
I watch “Desperate Housewives,” go to LA Fitness, then lay out the drama on the heart beat. I add colors to the sketch, all up until it tastes eargasmically amazing. Sometimes I reach out to Simba, my dog, and ask him of his thoughts. He emails me notes and I Botox the face of the piece to satisfaction. Then we give life to the body. Apply personal stories to the soundtrack. Meditate to the tune. And voila. Illuminati genius.

Calvin Harris, Mark Ronson, Daft Punk, Diplo, Crookers, N.E.R.D.

Advice to young ladies in the music biz trying to make it?
Don't take anybody's advice. There's no one way of making it and we all come from various situations. Don't take anybody's advice.
