Pardon The Introduction: Floyd Mayweather's Severe Is Opening Doors For Other Artists

Pardon The Introduction: Floyd Mayweather's Severe Is Opening Doors For Other Artists

Posted July 5, 2011

Severe says that, for him, everything after meeting manager Floyd Mayweather was “history.” Bred in North Carolina and raised in the concrete jungle, this hard-working 80’s baby with a “New York, southern state of mind” is aiming to do more than make rap music – he wants to inspire, open doors, and give other artists a chance to get noticed. Pipe dreaming? Not at all. He’s already well on his way to putting his plan into action with his recent Mayweather cosign, not to mention a handful of collaborations with artists like Juelz Santana. Dope, right? We could tell you more, but we’ll just go ahead and let Severe tell you the rest himself via this recent VIBE.com interview. — Stephanie Long
