Jimmy Carris, the EDM youngblood about to take America by sonic storm, stops by VIBE to chat about becoming the first-ever Dutch DJ signed worldwide to powerhouse label Ultra Records. Ultra releases music for the likes of deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Kaskade and a laundry list of DJ-producer elite. In the past, Ultra released music for fellow Dutch superstars like Tiësto and Armin van Buuren, now Ultra is stepping it up once again with some fresh meat to bring the beat.

At the age of five, Carris picked up his first set of headphones and started spinning; he's never looked back. The now-22 year old Dutchman is primed and ready to dazzle audiences, ("hopefully, Ultra Music Festival," says Carris) with his turbine fluid flows and reticulate flair for mixing.
