Paris Hilton's 20s will come to an end this week as she hits the big 3-0. We already know that the heiress turned reality star turned mogul had some wild ways (must be nice to be a rich white woman in America) but she claims that there will be some changes made.
“I had no idea I would have done as much as I’ve done,” says Hilton. “I’ve created an empire on my own. At first I was scared; your 30s [seem] so different than your 20s. But my friends who are 30 say it’s the most amazing year of their life.”
And Paris the Heiress has transitioned from a party girl into a mogul in her own right. She oversees 17 different product lines, including shoes, handbags, perfumes, apparel, sunglasses, Champagne, lingerie and a line of fake nails, eyelashes and hair extensions. She also has has global brand endorsement deals, has acted in five movies and released a music album.
Her bad-girl days are, if not exactly behind her, then at the very least a side project. She pleaded guilty in September to cocaine possession, and was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and paid a $2,000 fine. It’s better than jail, where she spent 23 days in the summer of 2007, after violating her probation on a prior conviction for reckless driving. But these days, Hilton has been out of the public eye.
“I’ve changed my whole lifestyle in the past few years,” says Hilton. “I used to go out all the time, but now . . . I’m a homebody. I love to be at home with my boyfriend [Cy Waits, 35, a night-life impresario].”
She’s even keeping up on current events, like the fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak last week. “It’s historical,” she says.
She also added that things are great between she and her boyfriend and as far as her new TV show, it will give Stans a behind-the-scenes look at life as Princess Hilton. [New York Post]
