With growing hype and speculation for X-Men: Days of Future Past, it seems like Sir Patrick Stewart craves those psychic powers once more.

According to Newsarama, during the recent 2012 Montreal Comic Book Convention, Patrick Stewart had some very interesting things to say about a possible return to the X-Men film series as Professor X. When asked if he would return to the role of Professor Charles Xavier, Stewart said, “I think there is every possibility.” Later on, Stewart more definitiely said, “Yes, I’ll be reprising.”

These quotes do not imply that James McAvoy won’t reprise the role of Xavier that he played in X-Men: First Class, yet with the time travel element in “Days of Future Past,” it is possible that the film will include both versions of the character. Fans of the mutant comic book series are familiar with the usage of alternate pasts, futures, and presents means that seeing two Charles Xaviers would be logical.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters on July 18, 2014.
