Pay Up! Montell Jordan Owes the IRS Big in Back Taxes

R&B singer Montell Jordan is in a bit of trouble with the government for missing more than a few bucks in tax payments. 

TMZ reports that the 90s crooner owes a jaw-dropping $627,987.06 in back taxes for the years 1999-2001. A Federal Tax Lien was first filed against him in 2004, but he's since failed to pay up. Another lien was filed last month. If Jordan doesn't cough up some money quickly, the IRS can snatch up MJ's property.

In a twist of irony, Montell's music graces a recent commercial for a Jackson-Hewitt tax service commercial. Hopefully he hasn't already blown his royalty money. —Krystal Holmes
