MTV announced the 2011 VMA nominees last night (July 21) and some of hip-hop’s top stars are included in that list. Kanye West has the most nominations, up for 11 awards. Young Money members Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj are also nominated for awards, while Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, and Tyler The Creator are all up for Best New Artist.
