Poll: Should There Be Another ‘The Best Man’ Sequel?

The Best Man Holiday’s impressive box office success in its opening weekend (an estimated $30.6 million) was a huge surprise to folks who are either a) clueless to the cult following of the original ’99 rom-com or b) ignorant to the power of the Black dollar. Regardless, the sequel was an emotional spin cycle that evoked plenty of laughs, a few Kleenexes and closed with a twist that leaves the door ajar for a third flick (no spoiler—but seriously, why haven’t you see this yet?!). Do you think writer/director Malcolm D. Lee and his colorful cast should try for a cinematic three-peat or leave the legacy of two dope films intact without chancing a misfire? —John Kennedy
