Looks like Pope Francis has a reason to ball.
The Pope received a special gift from Boston Celtics minority owner James Pallotta during his recent trip to the Vatican in the form of a white Boston Celtics jersey with "THE POPE" embroidered on the back, Boston Globe reports.
Pallotta's visit was part of a peace initiative for the soccer clubs that reached the Coppa Italia finals. He is the current president of the Italian club team A.S. Roma, which delivered a personalized jersey to the leader of the Catholic church as well.
Though the Boston Celtics were eliminated during the first round of the playoffs, we're sure the momento will be kept in God's good graces.
