You win some, you lose some. A man in New Jersey who probably did the money dance when he won the $338 million Powerball jackpot will likely have to ration out his winnings to pay off his lofty child support bill.
On Tuesday (Mar. 26), Pedro Quezada cashed in on his winnings, taking a lump-sum of $221 million. But Fox News reports that the 44-year-old, who has five kids, owes roughly $29,000 in child support dating back to 2009.
When officials visited his home on Wednesday (Mar. 27), Quezada was nowhere to be found and could face arrest if he doesn’t come forward. Clearly, he has money to spare.
