Although President Barack Obama usually operates with good intentions, his newly implemented Affordable Care Act is causing more problems than expected. Under his health care plan -- nicknamed Obamacare -- all Americans are granted free health insurance and he promised that those with pre-existing plans would be able to keep them. Unfortunately, despite his promises, some Americans started losing their current health assurance plans because of Obamacare. President Obama is already receiving backlash because millions of Americans received notices that their health care plans don't meet the minimum requirements set by the Affordable Care Act and will be canceled.
Today during an interview with NBC News, he expressed his apologies for the inconvenience.
"I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," he said. "We've got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this."
Now the nation waits to see how President Obama fixes all the mixups.
