You've seen President Barack Obama dance to Beyoncé's "Dangerously in Love" on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and brush his shoulders off à la Jay-Z while on the campaign trail. Now the president is grooving to another beat: The Hispanic sounds of Bachata.
In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, President Obama has invited one of the most prominent Bachata bands, Aventura, for a commemorative performance at the White House.
The performance by the Billboard Award-winning, Bronx-based band will take place on October 15, and be televised by PBS. Latinos, stand up! --Emmanuel Ureña
