Prince Plays London Gig In Lianne La Havas’ Living Room
His Purple Majesty, the artist currently known as Prince, jetsetted to London town with his band 3rd Eye Girl for an intimate gig in a living room.
In support of their upcoming album, Plectrum Electrum, Prince ditched the famed O2 arena for a more cozy setting to an audience of 12, according to ABC News.
The soulful fireside tour began in the East London home of Lianne La Havas, a British soul singer and friend of Prince’s.
The frequently velvet-clad entourage expects to play at small living room-esque venues across the pond and keep tickets as low as $10.
“We’ll work our way up, if people like us, to bigger venues,” Prince said. “We’re going to be here until people don’t want to hear us anymore.”
