His Purple Majesty, the artist currently known as Prince, jetsetted to London town with his band 3rd Eye Girl for an intimate gig in a living room.
In support of their upcoming album, Plectrum Electrum, Prince ditched the famed O2 arena for a more cozy setting to an audience of 12, according to ABC News.
The soulful fireside tour began in the East London home of Lianne La Havas, a British soul singer and friend of Prince’s.
The frequently velvet-clad entourage expects to play at small living room-esque venues across the pond and keep tickets as low as $10.
"We'll work our way up, if people like us, to bigger venues," Prince said. "We're going to be here until people don't want to hear us anymore."
