Prodigy Admits to Using Mobb Deep 'Fake Twitter Beef' to His Advantage

Prodigy Admits to Using Mobb Deep 'Fake Twitter Beef' to His Advantage

Posted April 18, 2012

After shooting down rumors of having beef with fellow Mobb Deep member Havoc, Prodigy revealed that they both used the controversy to their advantage.

Both he and Havoc still contend that Havoc's Twitter was hacked, however, he explained what took them so long to deny the rumors.

"Me and Havoc's businessmen," said Prodigy in an interview with Hot 97's Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg. "We stepped back and was like, 'Alright, how can we use this to our advantage?'"

"We were like, 'Alright, we got a record about to drop,'" he said before admitting to milking the situation.

Despite rumors that the two Mobb Deep members recently engaged in a fist fight, Prodigy claims they are conducting business as usual. -- Jazmine Gray
