Protestors rallied at Barneys in New York Wednesday (Oct. 29) following reports that four Black shoppers were allegedly racially profiled after buying items at the high-end store and Macy's. "The disrespect that racial profiling does to us as a people will not be tolerated," said Rev. Evelyn Manns.
The Brooklyn Christian Center pastor joined the demonstration’s organizer, Rev. Clinton Miller and a small group of protesters, demanding change. The stores in question were ordered by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman to turn over their racial profiling policies by Friday, Nov. 1.
