Pusha T Gives Details on Debut Solo Album

Even though Pusha T is hard at work on the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, he's still getting ready for his anticipated debut studio album.

Sitting down with MTV for their Hip-Hop Preview Week, Pusha broke down the album's recording process, cinematic influence, lyricism, and the music appearing on it—including the potential single "40 Acres."

"[40 Acres is] produced by The-Dream and Rico Beats," Pusha says of the track. He adds, "It really harps on things that have happened in my life in regards to family — my brother being my partner, my parents not being together — speaking on how those things altered my views on relationships and so on" he says of the track."
