Questlove To Release ‘Soul Train’ Book
If you read Questlove’s memoir, “Mo’ Meta Blues,” then you know hat the guy is a reservoir of music knowledge (and he was a huge Soul Train fanatic). Now, he’s gearing up to publish another book on the timeless Soul Train TV show.
On October 22, Harper Design is planning to drop “Soul Train: The Music, Dance and Style of a Generation”, which includes over 350 photos of on-set performers and will cover the show from it’s inception in 1971 until 1993, when Don Cornelius stepped down from hosting. With a preface written by Nick Cannon and a foreword written by Gladys Knight, the book looks essential for music lovers and Soul Train nostalgics alike
