Questlove Set To Teach 'Classic Albums' Course At NYU

Could Questlove be your new college professor? If you attend New York University, that might just be a possibility.

Counting as a two credit course, the class will focus on the concept of what it means for something to be called classic, looking at albums like Sly & The Family Stone's Stand!, Aretha Franklin's Lady Soul, Michael Jackson's Off The Wall, and a list of other iconic albums.
Check out this tweet that Questlove sent out, confirming reports:
That's Professor ?uesto RT @jeffrabhan: Word is that @questlove is coming to teach a course next semester @clivedavisin
st on Classic Albums! — Questo of The Roots (@questlove) October 16, 2012
Word is, the idea for the course came from the now-infamous NPR blog post, where an intern's dismissive review of "classic albums they'd never heard before" prompted Questlove to respond by saying, "ur [sic] job is to find out why."
This is a good look for Quest, NYU as a whole, and inquiring music heads trying to get an education. Education & music coming together can never go wrong.
